DESCRIPTIONThe MP1038 is a fixed operating frequencyinverter controller that controls four externalN-Channel power MOSFETs in a full-bridgeconfiguration. The inverter is designed to powerone or more cold cathode fluorescent lamps(CCFL) to backlight liquid crystal displays. Itsfull-bridge architecture converts unregulated DCinput voltages to the nearly pure sine wavesrequired to ignite and operate CCFL.
